Headington Scottish Country Dancers
dancing at the Harwell & Abingdon Ball, December 2017
Headington Scottish Country Dancers has been running for 60 years. It has always been a local favourite, accessibly located right in central Headington.
It’s our mission to ensure every dancer that joins us has a good time. We go at the pace our dancers want so that everyone has fun. But it’s not all play. We have a qualified teacher at least once a month to go over the basics so we can develop our skills.
We're very sociable, with a regular Hogmanay Party (New Year's Eve).
Whether you have been dancing for years or have never danced before, we'd love to meet you! We will make sure that you enjoy yourself, whatever your ability.
We meet at Old Headington Village Hall, Dunstan Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 9BY, on Thursdays from 8 - 10 p.m.
Classes run from September to June. Membership is £10 per year, with weekly charges at £4 and £5 for non-members.
